#3 We will invite you to visit our venue. We will assess which space suits best based on your number of guests and style of event.
#4 We send you a proposal and a floor plan for your Christmas party, including Brisbane Christmas party ideas to make your event special.

#5 Our events team will work with you to set up the room. Our front of house team, chef and Food and Beverage Manager will work with you on the day to ensure a smooth delivery.

  • Can we add our own styling to our event?

    Yes, of course you can bring in your own stylist or decorations. You can also seek assistance from one of our preferred suppliers, who would be delighted to help.

  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, we offer plenty of parking options. We have 350 undercover car parks for patrons. All Moda Events guests receive four hours of complimentary parking, with discounted rates after this time. Complimentary street parking is available.

  • Are you easily accessible by public transport?

    Yes, we are located close to Bretts Wharf ferry terminal in Hamilton and a number of bus stops.

  • Is there AV available?

    Our Christmas party package includes all the crucial audio visual equipment you need, including two handheld microphones, a lectern, themed lighting (in the Riverview Room only), wireless internet, a stage area and dance floor area. You are welcome to bring background music on your CD player or iPod. If you have a video or presentation to play at your Xmas party, we also have a ceiling mounted data projector available.

  • Are there different catering options?

    Yes, we provide a variety of catering packages, including cocktail packages and food stations for cocktail style events.

    For banquet style events, we offer your choice of a two course meal or three course meal, featuring your choice of dishes served alternately.

  • What are the catering options for a cocktail style Christmas party event?

    We have a range of Xmas packages on offer for a cocktail style Christmas party event.

    The Portside Cocktail package includes six canapés (three hot and three cold), one cocktail dish of your choice, and 3 hours with the Portside Beverage package.

    The Classic Cocktail package includes the chef’s selection of house made dips and bread platter, six canapés (three hot and three cold), one cocktail dish of your choice, and 4 hours with the Classic Beverage package.

    The Prestige Cocktail package includes the chef’s selection of house made dips and bread platter, the chef’s selection of tapas platter, eight canapés (four hot and four cold), two cocktail dishes of your choice, and 5 hours with the Classic Beverage package.

     

  • What are the food station options?

    Our fun, delicious food stations make an exciting addition to your corporate Christmas party celebration. The options are almost endless, from our exciting sangria or mimosa bar to our gourmet cheese station, seafood and oyster station (featuring a live chef), paella or risotto station (with a live chef), or petit sweet stations (a dream come true for sweet tooths).

  • Do you have wheelchair access?

    Moda Events Portside has full wheelchair access from our undercover car park up to any floor of the Portside complex via the lift. A disabled toilet is located near the entrance of the venue.
